Damp Proof Material Polyethylene Polypropylene Polymer Waterproof Membrane for Underlayment

Overview:
               
                Polyethylene  polymer waterproof roll material using polymer cement paste, can be in rainy days (moisture content of more than 50%) construction.  GBS polyethylene polypropylene composite waterproof rolling material is not limited by the water content of the base is less than 9%, to ensure the construction progress.  Polyethylene polypropylene waterproof rolling material is advertised as a kind of universal waterproof material, roofing, balcony, terrace, basement, kitchen, bathroom, pool and other places can be used, because of its low price, simple process, so in the construction market flooding.  
 

Features:

1. The product is composed of multiple layers of different materials, which greatly improves its comprehensive performance. Especially, the product is added with anti-aging agent, which greatly improves the service life of the product, up to more than 50 years.

2. The upper and lower surfaces of the coiled material are rough, and there is no regular cross structure in the non-woven fabric fibers, forming a three-dimensional mesh hole shape, and a variety of binders can achieve good results.

3. When bonding with cement base, cement binder can be used for bonding. Cement binder can directly enter the mesh on the surface of waterproof membrane, and it is integrated with cement solidification, so it is firmly bonded and has strong permanence.

4. The surface of waterproof layer after construction can be directly decorated (such as: bonded ceramic tile, floor tile, mosaic, etc.)

5. There is no special requirement for the water content of the leveling layer, the construction can be carried out as long as there is no water.

Construction Operation Requirements: 
 
1.  Construction procedure: 
 
Acceptance of leveling layer → cleaning of base course → preparation of cement adhesive → making additional layer, base construction → protective layer → maintenance 
 
2.  Before bonding, the membrane shall be pre-spread and aligned, and then the two ends of the membrane shall be folded and rolled up.  The prepared cement adhesive shall be poured into the base course, and the scraper shall be used to scrape it evenly.  Then, the membrane shall be pushed forward, and the air left in the membrane shall be eliminated timely with the scraper, and the excess binder shall be scraped off.  The bonding rate between the membrane and the leveling layer shall be no less than 85%. 
 
3.  Joint method: 
 
a. Construction of roof waterproof joint: overlap joint method is adopted for air barrier layer, waterproof layer and additional layer.  The width is 10cm, and the joint of additional layer and waterproof layer is staggered by more than 5cm. 
 
b. Waterproof joint construction of basement: 10~15cm overlapping cover strip joint method is adopted, and the cover strip is bonded with polymer joint adhesive. 
 
c. The overlap width of waterproof membrane is 8~10cm on the long side and 10~15cm on the short side.  The joints of adjacent short edges should be staggered by more than 10cm.  The angle between the wall and the ground is more than 30cm. 
 
 4.  Protective layer: 
 
After the membrane is paved and bonded, a 2cm thick 1 : 25 cement mortar protective layer shall be made on the waterproof layer, and it shall be smoothed twice.  The two-layer joint must be staggered by more than 20cm.  The protective layer shall be smooth and maintained by drinking water.
